About Me

Hi, I’m Michelle McKinzie, LCSW, CIMHP
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Integrative Mental Health Provider, I specialize in supporting individuals living with chronic illness—particularly Lyme disease, co-infections, mold illness, CIRS, MCAS, and other complex conditions.
My work is deeply informed by both professional expertise and my own healing journey. After years of navigating Lyme disease and achieving remission, I felt called to create a safe, validating space where others don’t have to face these struggles alone.
In my practice, I combine evidence-based therapy (such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches) with integrative strategies that consider the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to help you find steadiness in uncertainty, build resilience, and reconnect with hope, even when life feels overwhelming.
I also stay current with the latest research and training in integrative medicine for mental health and ILADS fundamentals, so I can walk alongside you with tools that are both practical and compassionate.
Above all, I want you to know that you are not defined by your diagnosis. Healing—while not always linear—is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone.
